We want to emphasize the importance of taking care of ourselves and supporting each other as members of the community, promoting enriching intergenerational dialogue.

Pride! BCN 2023 aims to be a meeting point for intergenerational conversation: from those who have just discovered their orientation or identity, to those who can enjoy it in fullness and happiness, to those who are facing the later stages of life and still want to embrace a diverse, rich, and active lifestyle.

It will be an intergenerational space where we will address important topics such as health, sexuality, loneliness, and invisibility at a certain age, as well as youth, culture, and significant figures from different generations.

Youth and adults play a fundamental role in our celebration. They represent a vital part of our community, integrated into various spheres of society and with the power to drive our demands in all directions. At Pride! BCN 2023, we will tackle the challenges and issues they face in their academic, professional, business, and personal and family relationships.

We will pay special attention to the situation of older people in our LGBTIQ+ community. We recognize that they face challenges such as loneliness and isolation, exacerbated by the social discrimination they have experienced throughout their lives. We want them to know they are not alone, and at Pride! BCN 2023, we will fight for the respect and dignity of our older LGBTIQ+ individuals. We will advocate for inclusive public services that offer emotional and healthcare support at all stages of life.

Pride! BCN 2023 is a celebration of diversity in all ages. We want to highlight that all individuals, regardless of their age, deserve full respect. We recognize the valuable legacy of our older generations, who have fought for the freedom and acceptance we enjoy today. Join us at Pride!
