Pride Barcelona 2026 Opening Speech

On July 16th, at 8:00 pm, in Universitat Square, we will have a very special opening speech by María Peláe, one of the most distinctive voices on the current music scene.
With an unmistakable voice, unique sensitivity, and a firm commitment to diversity, María Peláe has transformed music into a tool for advocating for the freedom, rights, and visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Following the speech, she will also give a special performance in Universitat Square, in an evening that will combine music, culture, and pride.
