The route of desire

A route designed to take you through the emblematic areas of the Raval, better known as Chinatown, and its surroundings. Emblematic bars with a lot of history, not only because of the years, but also because of the people who visited them. Party halls and variety shows, alternative bars, public baths. For various reasons, the history of this seaside neighborhood open to the world is disappearing. Barcelona is a city with anecdotes to describe, and this route invites you to discover them. She participated in the documentary Muerte de una puta (2006) and is one of the protagonists of the documentary Siemprevivas (pending release). She received the Goya Award from Manu Chao for the song “Me llaman calle”, soundtrack of the film Princesas (2005). She has given lectures at various universities, as well as in the Spanish Senate, and has been interviewed by various media outlets.
