Pride Barcelona is a non-profit making event organised by LGBT socio-cultural and business institutions in Catalonia. The objective of Pride Barcelona is to promote respect for diversity, especially towards the gay community, by means of culture, entertainment and visibility.

Pride Barcelona brings together the various LGBT institutions of Catalonia, as an effective way of publicising their projects and raising the profile of the work they do all year round.

Pride Barcelona also aims to create the atmosphere necessary to bring together all the possible strands within the LGBT community and beyond it, in a major event that will involve more than 100,000 people on this second occasion.
