Floats
This year, the Pride parade will include floats of both the organising associations and any other businesses and institutions who wish to take part.
Prior registration by associations, institutions and businesses is necessary to participate.
You can arrange your own float, or take advantage of the better fleet conditions that Pride Barcelona can place at your disposal (vehicle, security and sound system). For more information, contact: info@pridebarcelona.org
Grups
Pride Barcelona 2010 will be again the most important Pride that has ever happened in the city, as well as the best opportunity to raise awareness of your group, institution or business. We are going to parade through the city centre and you should take advantage of the occasion. Whether there are two or two thousand of you, don’t hesitate to register in order to participate in a new event that will set the tone for the future.

F.A.Q.
* Where do we have to meet?
The meeting point is in Plaça Universitat, at 17.00 on 27 June 2010. There, your group will be given an identifier and you will be told your position in the parade.
*Can we ask for a specific location in the parade?
The order of the parade will be decided by drawing lots. Groups on foot will alternate with floats, with enough space between them to avoid different music becoming mixed up, for example.
*Can we use a portable sound system?
Yes, although bear in mind that if you are on foot, you can’t use a petrol or diesel generator for the electricity supply – you have to use batteries.
*Can we distribute leaflets or flyers?
That is one of the good things about being a group on foot – you can hand out this type of material during the parade. However, they can’t be thrown into the air or slow down the pace of the parade.
*Can we carry banners or dress up?
Of course, groups can carry their own banners, flags or placards – they are very important for raising your profile and to create an atmosphere. Whoever wants to can also dress up or wear a special outfit, so long as these are within the by-laws of our host city.
